Inspired by the unique hair structure of Saharan silver ants, Chuangleng Technology has independently developed multi-component and multi-scale nanoparticle materials by deeply integrating the principles of material science, optics and heat transfer. The product uses a polymer with high and medium infrared radiation as the matrix, embedded with spherical particles. While blocking the incoming heat, it dissipates the heat to the cold outer space through mid-infrared radiation, thereby spontaneously providing a cooling effect for the inside of the application.

High-performance PET optical micro-film is used to achieve a mid-infrared emissivity of up to 94%. Saharan silver ants have evolved a unique way to maintain low body temperatures through a combination of enhanced optical reflectance. The hairs on the surface of silver ants have a unique structure that allows sunlight to be reflected internally and dissipated as heat when it hits the surface. This energy then enters outer space in the form of infrared radiation. This process allows the silver ants to regulate their body temperature and survive in the sweltering desert heat.
